Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does the COPE survey take?
    • The survey should take anywhere from 20-25 minutes. Most of the survey questions are multiple choice, and there is a progress bar which tells you approximately how far along you are in the survey. 
  • How can I learn about the data you’ve collected?
    • As we start analyzing the information we have collected, we will post some of the preliminary data we have collected on our website, as well as links to any findings of our research partners. 
  • Can I take the survey if I’m pregnant with or recently gave birth to twins/triplets/multiples?
    • Yes! As long as you are currently pregnant, or your youngest children are less than 6 months old, you can take this survey. 
  • I’m not from California. Can I still take the survey?
    • Yes! Anyone who is pregnant or has a child under 6 months can take our survey. However, we can only enter U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and people who have a work eligible US visa into our raffle to win one of 25 $30 Amazon Gift Cards. 
  • I’m not a United States citizen. Can I still take the survey?
    • Anyone who is pregnant or has a child under 6 months can take our survey. However, we can only enter U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and people who have a work eligible US visa into our raffle to win one of 25 $30 Amazon Gift Cards.
  • If I take the survey, will you contact me again in the future?
    • At the end of the survey, we will ask if you would be open to us recontacting you about future studies. We will only reach out to you again if you answer “yes” to being recontacted. 
  • This is not my first pregnancy and/or child. Can I still take the survey?
    • Absolutely! As long as you are currently pregnant, or your youngest child is less than 6 months old, you can take this survey. 
  • How many languages is the survey offered in?
  • Can I stop the survey and start again if I run out of time or would I need to start over? 
    • Due to the design of our study, you would need to finish the survey in one sitting. The survey should only take around 20-25 minutes to complete.
